Forever seen in glass view
A willing kindred spirit friend
Excitement for living in a jar
Free nightly firefly light to light the dirt roads
No creature of doubt touches the glow of what is set
in stone
Obliged to be on a higher shelf
Helpful kicking attitudes in morning releases
Forever etched like tiki wood
Possessed when needed
The desire to be a pocket totem
“Unsheathe me at your need”
Gold swords rust into red powders
from this promising feat
Sprites will have nothing over me

Blinding light sends me blurry vision of the grassy field
Endless green terrain
The wind soars through my robe
Nature’s kind grip of the shoulder
Healing my aches
Smiling in peace for the first time
Robin egg skies teaching the spring inspiration of creation
The clouds, forgotten that the clouds are bodies of water
Their shapes like ripples of lakes, streams and ocean
Patterns of a world in synchronized

Awaken from the blurred past centuries within nibbles of the hour glass
The well resting on the marble table with the festive white toga
“Strange dreams of gardens with strange high spirited spirits.
Offers of intriguing colored cake.”
The bites taken with no shame as I chase the sun in their forests.
“Food forsaken from the binding elemental realms.”

Carried through the past bloodshed
Rejuvenating my vampiric wounds
The Xs’ on my eyes open up
Only the view
of never ending space
How the stars seem so close in reach
Missing my own white feathers
They combusted through the ages
~with permission, I borrow them until the end even after the candy heart season~
I’ll steal the job with an arrow
As Cupid lays sleeping by the apple tree
Ink tipped with perfect Venus targets
